Reads recipes and/or product directions
o
Estimates food requirements.
o
Operates a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.
o
Assists in the preparation of foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
o
Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
o
Keeps records and requisition for supplies/equipment as needed.
o
Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following all Sodexho, client and regulatory rules and procedures.
o
May taste test products.

Physical Demands: Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
