## Description
The Casper Star-Tribune, Wyoming's largest news organization, is looking for an organized, energetic and passionate journalist to become our next reporter for features and special sections. Wyoming is full of unusual characters and odd places, and we're looking for someone who's excited about telling those stories - whether that means sleeping out on the prairie with sheepherders or standing ringside for a state lawmaker's first MMA fight. This person will receive story assignments that are as wide open as the spaces in our beautiful state and, on any given day, could be writing for A1, Lifestyles, Weekender or one of our various special sections. In addition to lending a creative pen to any number of topics, this journalist will be responsible for coordinating some of our special sections, including Live Well, our health and fitness guide that publishes about six times per year. It's a challenging job, but for the right person, it will be incredibly rewarding and fun.
It's not all work, of course, in Wyoming. We have an established, historic small-town feel in Casper, but with our offerings of movie theaters, restaurants, shopping and the arts, we also provide a worthwhile social experience. Miss the big city? Denver is an easy drive. Want some privacy? We're at the base of a beautiful mountain range where you can hike and get a breath of fresh air. Outdoor opportunities are endless.
