14 an hour Description and Functions Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position supports new and current providers, including the certification and renewal processes for Waiver service providers.
The Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Section oversees the home and community-based Waiver programs for the State of Wyoming, including the Comprehensive and Supports, and the Community Choices Waivers.
Collectively, these Waivers serve Wyoming residents with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and acquired brain injuries, as well as residents over the age of 65 and those with physical disabilities who meet program eligibility requirements.
HCBS Section staff strive to provide excellent customer service and up-to-date information to participants, families, providers, and other stakeholders.
The purpose of this position is to provide guidance and oversight to HCBS Waiver service providers in Wyoming.
This position will ensure compliance with federal and state requirements such as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Wyoming Medicaid Rules, Wyoming State Statutes, and other Division of Healthcare Finance (DCHF) and Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) Standards.
This position monitors provider compliance with regulations to ensure health, safety, dignity, and respect for all waiver participants.
This position is responsible for ensuring that providers meet federal and state requirements related to health, safety, and welfare issues that impact the Wyoming citizens served on the Waivers.

Initial provider certification/enrollment Ongoing provider renewals.
Coordination with internal and external partners to address a comprehensive view of provider support and service to Waiver participants.
Participation in the development and implementation of policy, procedures, and rules in alignment with programmatic goals and requirements.
Qualifications PREFERENCES:
Preferences will be given to individuals with a bachelor's degree, and knowledge of home and community-based regulations.
KNOWLEDGE:
In-depth and current knowledge of definitions, trends, and treatment/rehabilitation modalities related to Home and Community-Based programs.
Understanding and knowledge of HIPAA Wyoming Medicaid rules, CMS requirements, federal regulation, Wyoming statute, and other related guidelines and regulations.
Well-developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple, concurrent work tasks.
Ability to utilize all current and commonly used office technology, such as cell phones, computers, and copy machines.
Professional oral and written communication skills as applicable to consulting, teaching, and presenting information and materials for audiences of varying abilities and experiences.
Skilled in conflict resolution and crisis management.
In-depth knowledge and clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and jurisdictional differences within the HCBS Section as well as for all stakeholder agencies.
Ability to analyze, evaluate, review, and assess information and situations in order to make objective decisions and judgments, either independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of and ability to practice defensive driving techniques and all requirements for safe highway travel.
Knowledge of and ability to access community resources related to planned and last-minute travel requirements throughout the state of Wyoming.
Ability to complete travel, including overnight travel, up to 25% of the time.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Healthcare)
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Health Programs) OR Education & Experience Substitution:
3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Health Programs) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
