Chief Operating Officer (COO) Encino Environmental Services, LLC (Encino) is an environmental solutions firm specializing in air quality compliance and field-services.
Encino provides innovative custom and technical environmental solutions in the areas of source evaluation (Emissions Performance Testing), leak detection and repair (LDAR), and continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS).
Additionally, Encino provides consulting services for air quality compliance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs.
Product lines also include emissions management devices and satellites (micro-SATS) for greenhouse gas (GHG) detection from space and emissions reduction products, primarily a composite thief hatch.
Founded in 2010, the Encino team recognized the growing demand for environmental, regulatory, and governance solutions within the energy value-chain.
With more than 150 years of combined engineering, project management, mechanical systems, and environmental expertise, Encino has the capability to assess, design, and implement an array of strategies to address complex projects and operational system limitations.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The District Manager is a key leadership role within a company primarily accountable for managing service delivery and profitability for all Encino product lines including Source Testing, Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR), Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMs), and Pressure Relief Valve maintenance and repair (PRV), Thief Hatch sales and any other products & services that Encino offers our clients.
The role is also accountable for overseeing customer service, financial management, communication & collaboration, problem solving & decision making, and team leadership & development.
It is also responsible for supporting sales and revenue generation for the district.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Accountable for managing all aspects of operations for all products and services that Encino provides.
Providing all personnel with a safe work environment and providing all necessary tools and equipment to ensure employees are safe.
Accountable for all aspects of daily operations which include performing resource allocation, workload assignment and scheduling field technicians for assigned projects.
Ensuring error-free service delivery to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
This may involve managing inventory, staffing levels, and overall performance.
Ensuring all company assets are professional in appearance and operational and that preventive maintenance programs are in place and being followed.
Accountable for customer service by ensuring that the district provides exceptional customer service and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
Addressing and resolving all customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
Accountable for Financial Management by preparing & achieving P&L Budget for District.
Plan and coordinate business operations in the district to achieve financial goals.
Analyzing financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities and identifying potential revenue opportunities.
And providing the finance team with information required for invoicing.
Accountable for team leadership and development, recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff members within the district.
Providing guidance, gap recognition, coaching, and support to ensure that employees are performing effectively and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsible for communication and collaboration and serving as a liaison between corporate headquarters and the district.
Communicating company goals, initiatives, and policies to employees and providing feedback to corporate leadership.
Responsible for liaising with corporate and field-level representatives to coordinate testing project schedules and logistics.
Responsible for identifying business challenges and suggesting appropriate action plans to upper Management.
Responsible for collaborating with sales to generate district related proposals and cross approval before submitting to the customer.
Responsible for providing operational feedback for continued improvement.

Sales leads or new business possibilities will be passed to the COO, PL-Directors, and Sales team immediately.
Perform audits of your programs and equipment every 4-6 months to ensure quality and control.
Send a bi-weekly report to the COO & Director at the end of each working week, capturing the data and information that is required.
District operations are done within the Company's quality, safety & environmental programs and policies frequent reviews are done to ensure compliance by manager.
Any other managerial duties requested by immediate supervisor.
KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of industry requirements and regulations as well as technology utilized.

Education and
Experience:
Must have a four-year degree from an accredited college/university in Science, Mathematics or Engineering (or industry experience equivalent).
5-10 years field experience regarding technical, industrial, and/or oil and gas services (preferred).
Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.
).
Willing to travel to visit the company's operational locations and headquarters, as required.
Be fluent in English and possess exceptional communications skills.
Must be able to manage a variety of tasks while maintaining progress against multiple schedules (Project Management).
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
