Summary:
The role of the Security Technician is to provide installation and service technical labor on projects according to plans and specifications and direction from operations manager or security manager.
Responsibilities/
Essential Functions:
Install low voltage wire and devices for systems sold by Security Solutions business unit.
Follow directions from Operations and/or Security Manager.
Alert Senior Managers to any apparent changes or obstacles that could impede the scope of work as defined by the project.
Attend meetings as required.
Troubleshoot and repair problems with equipment or wiring as called for.
Attend training functions as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
2 years of installation and service experience preferred.
Ability to understand and troubleshoot IP Based security systems.
Places a high value on quality of workmanship, attention to detail and safe work practices for self and others
Knowledge of basic electricity such as AC/DC theory, ohms law, ability to read and understand a digital volt/ohm meter.
Comfortable working at heights.
Heavy lifting occasionally required.
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
Experience working both independently and in a team.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Customer service skills an asset.
Ability to travel to job sites within the entire State of Wyoming.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
