## Description
The Casper Star-Tribune, Wyoming's largest news organization, is seeking a hardworking, deadline-oriented journalist to join our universal editing/design desk.
The ideal candidate would be excited to edit and design sports pages three to five times per week but would be able and eager to contribute on the news side as well. This person would be a member of our copy desk but would work closely with our colleagues in the sports department. Other duties might include posting content to our website and paginating and editing special sections.
The successful candidate will have strong time management, communication and organization skills, including the ability to juggle and prioritize tasks on deadline. We're looking for someone with a bachelor's degree, a desire to thrive as part of a team, a deep commitment to accuracy and fairness and the ability to hone in on details without losing sight of the big picture. This position requires working nights, weekends and some holidays.
It's not all work, of course, in Wyoming. We have an established, historic small-town feel, but with our offerings of movie theaters, restaurants, shopping and the arts, we also provide a worthwhile social experience. Love the big city?
